Set in the storybook-styled fantasy world of The Yondering Lands, Wildermyth allows you to create your own stories as you guide your procedurally generated characters through procedurally generated challenges set in procedurally generated maps. The characters are all generated with life histories and personalities and they show real character progression as you shape them from nobodies into legends.

Wildermyth features an X-Com-esque tactical turn based combat system that comes into effect when you meet enemies in the land. Your characters can die, but you’ll be able to preserve the memory of your favorite heroes so they can join you in future adventures. As you explore and fight in the Yondering Lands you’ll make decisions that can dramatically affect the narrative and your character’s fates. Maybe you’ll let a character become a werewolf or maybe you’ll make the choice between them being disfiguringly maimed or dying a heroes death, defeating a powerful foe with their last breath.
